Cricut cartridge exploration - Animal Antics

I decided to bring out a cartridge and make some stuff from it.  I didn't start with pictures or papers first, but with the cartridge first.  I have a fairly extensive Cricut library so I really need to make more use of the ol' carts!

I started my first LO with this paper.  I think it's Basic Gray paper but I'm not sure.  With this PP it's pretty much already done, but since I like lumpy and bumpy I did add a few more things here and there...

Here are the cuts that started this... I *LOVE* MY GYPSY!  I love that I can design on it and then add the appropriate paper on the mat and then I just have to roll the mat into the machine once.  A couple of buttons later and voila.  Done and done.

What I saw on the Animal Antics cartridge that I decided to use was "Let's Eat", to be used as a title,  and a funny little colorful vulture along with it.

See that super cute vulture on the top left?  Ha!

Next, I have this (crummy) picture of my son throwing a makeshift "party" - the picture stinks but I wanted to remember the moment anyway.  I found "Cut Loose" as a title on Animal Antics, but it had a lawnmower as part of the cut.  I messed with the image on my Gypsy for both the cut and its shadow, and had to do a tiny bit of cutting myself, and voila, sans lawnmower.

Detail shot of the title & journaling.  I used regular punches for all of the circles.

I am *almost* done with this old line of CTMH paper.  Almost.  And that's all I did for today with that Cricut cartridge.  Stay tuned for more Cricut fun.

Thanks for looking and for leaving love!
